Glossary of Terms

Targeting - Targeting in Votivate allows users to create, filter, see, and export Universes. 

Questions and Tags - Questions and Tags is our section for creating canvassing tools, including survey questions, and tags for faster filtering. This also is where administrators can create formats for walk lists and call lists.

Voter Lookup - Our voter lookup section allows campaigns and canvassing teams to quickly lookup voters to see deeper data, including district, age, gender, party, as well as voting history, and voter status (active or inactive).

Turf Map - Votivate’s turfing tools can be found in this section. Quickly cut and assign turfs to canvassers to carry out field programs in real-time.

Call Lists - Leverage your universes to create lists of voters for phone banks, and call outreach.

Data Admin - Data Admin allows users to input data via Data Entry, bulk upload records into the system, export data for expanded analytics out of Votivate, and see voter pollsites.

Reports - Reports enables Votivate users to generate crosstab counts by row and column, pull canvass results from field data, and make sure canvassers have the right mobile validation and turf permissions. 

Staff and Vols - manage who has access to your account, and with what permissions. 

Admin - Understand which user roles have access to your Votivate account, and what their permissions allow.

Billing - Manage your weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly billing, as well as see billing history.

Personal Profile - Update your personal information, and see your user role on the account.
