Tags can be used to help you quickly identify voters who have taken an action or who fall into a yes/no category. For example, people who have voted by mail or voted early can be found by filtering on tags.
CREATING A TAG:
Step 1: Go to the Questions & Tags and select the Tags column.
Step 2: Review the tags. You may find a tag you want to create already exists. Then select + New Tag.
Step 3: Give the tag a descriptive name, including the year for easy reference later on.
Step 4: Create a short name that will be easy to select from a drop down list.
Step 5: If you would like to add a longer description for your canvassers to understand a bit more about the tag, do so in the description field.
Step 6: Once you have added your tag details, select campaign or issue details.
Note: Tags can only have one designation.
- For campaign details, you can select the year of the election, point in the election cycle, as well as candidate name, and office.
- For issue details, enter the name of the issue, and a short description.
Step 7: Click "SAVE" to save your tag.
